Who We Are

We are family members and friends of nursing home residents in the New York area. We actively participate in the family councils of our nursing homes, and we believe that family members uniting and supporting each other in these councils can be an agent for constructive change.

By law families have a right to organize and meet as a council in any nursing home. The home must provide space for the family council and must not interfere in its operations. If you need help forming or running a family council in your nursing home, please contact us.

We also invite those of you who are family council members to join our alliance and have your home represented.
